A man and a woman, of different nations and ethnicities, wake up after a long period of hibernation. They don't know their world no longer exists. Everything is destroyed, the scenery is post-atomic and only rubble can be seen up to the horizon. They set out in search of water by strengthening each other. Only migratory birds give them hope because flying over their heads they prove that there is still life on Earth.
